REBBIE JACKSON / CENTIPEDE


"Centipede" ("mille-pattes") est le premier album de Rebbie Jackson. Il est sorti en 1984, en pleine fièvre jacksonienne.
Avec l'effervescence créée par le "Victory Tour", il était aisé d'exploiter le nom "Jackson".

Pour les fans de Michael Jackson, l'intérêt de cet album réside dans le titre "Centipede", écrit, composé et produit par Michael qui participe également aux choeurs. Rebbie Jackson reprendra d'ailleurs ce titre sur son album "Yours Faithfully" en 1998, dans une version ré-arrangée et plus longue.

Les frères Jackson participent également à cet album sur quelques titres et on retrouve aussi une reprise d'un titre de Prince (voir détails ci-dessous).
